A Jefferson man was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening head and leg injuries after his 1965 Jaguar crashed into the porch of a Nobleboro home the morning of Friday, Oct. 19.
Garrett Bourque, 51, was driving the Jaguar south on East Pond Road when the vehicle went off the road, over a culvert, and across a lawn before crashing into the porch at 395 East Pond Road, according to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy 1st Class Brian Collamore. The accident is under investigation.
Bourque was transported by the Central Lincoln County Ambulance Service to LincolnHealth’s Miles Campus in Damariscotta, Collamore said. He had been wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash.
The owners of the residence were not home at the time of the crash, Collamore said. He was unsure if the house sustained any structural damage. The vehicle was totaled.
The Jefferson and Nobleboro fire departments and first responders also responded to the scene.
