A two-car accident on the Wiscasset Bridge in Edgecomb backed up traffic in both directions Nov. 18.
According to LCSO Lt. Mike Murphy, Lara Barrett, 27, of Wiscasset was traveling southbound on Rt. 1 when she struck Charles Temple, 36, of Rockland, from behind.
The accident occurred at around 2 p.m, causing traffic to back up in both directions.
“One stopped the other one didn’t,” Lt. Murphy said.
Both drivers were transported to Miles Memorial Hospital.
