A two-vehicle accident on Aug. 6 sent one individual to the hospital with minor injuries, and resulted in severe damage.
Waldoboro Police Officer Jeffrey Fuller attended the accident on Union Road (Rt. 235) at the intersection of Manktown Road, involving Thomas Joslyn, 22, of Waldoboro and Richard Farrell 26, of Bristol.
Joslyn was driving his 1997 Subaru station wagon and failed to yield right of way at Manktown Road, causing Farrell’s vehicle, a 1994 Dodge pickup truck to collide with the front end of Joslyn’s vehicle.
Joslyn’s passenger, Ericka Billings, sustained abrasion and bruises to the face.
Damage is estimated at $5000 to the Joslyn vehicle, and $100 to the Farrell vehicle.
