Waldoboro Police arrested two 19-year-old Friendship residents on drug related charges March 3.
Zachary Overlock is charged with “Robbery” and “Stealing Drugs.” Karrie Prior is charged with “Unlawful Possession of Schedule W Drugs (Adderall – 30 mg)” and “Operating after Suspension.”
According to Waldoboro police, Prior and Overlock were arrested following a complaint made around 2:10 p.m. when police were dispatched to 99 Hahn Rd. in Waldoboro. The caller alleged Overlock entered his residence and allegedly threatened force against him, then stole his medication, police said.
Overlock and Prior allegedly fled 99 Hahn Rd. in a Ford Taurus operated by Prior heading toward Friendship.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Waldoboro Police Department in locating and arresting Prior and Overlock a short time later, at two separate residences in Friendship. Following the arrests, police recovered most of the stolen prescription medication. The recovered drugs have an approximate street value of $900.
Waldoboro Police Chief Bill Labombarde stated the incident is being investigated as a “drug deal gone bad.”
Overlock and Prior were both taken to the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset. The incident remains under investigation.
