The court issued a warrant for the arrest of Nana Frempong, 40, of Bath, after he failed to appear for his jury trial on Oct. 24 in Lincoln County Superior Court in Wiscasset.
Frempong was indicted in May on a single charge of gross sexual assault against a Westport Island child under 12 years old in March 2006.
