Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Detectives have arrested a Boothbay man in connection with a home invasion that took place on Barters Island in Boothbay March 17.
Detectives arrested Michael Brewer, 57, on April 4 at around 10 p.m., according to the LCSO.
LCSO Lt. Michael Murphy said the arrest is the culmination of multiple interviews and examination of DNA evidence over the past couple of weeks.
Brewer was arrested at a residence on the Matthew Road in Boothbay on a warrant for robbery, Class A, according to the release. He was placed in custody without incident and transported to Two Bridges Regional Jail where he is currently being held. His bail is set at $30,000 cash bail.
