Boothbay wants the MaineHealth Board of Trustees to reject a Lincoln County Healthcare proposal to close the St. Andrews Hospital and Healthcare Center emergency department.
The town “is lobbying for a stay of execution,” according to a post on the Town of Boothbay Facebook page.
Town Manager James Chaousis II was not available for comment.
