An anonymous person has donated a Tom Brady-autographed Superbowl football to be auctioned off on Sat., Nov. 19 at the LA Booster Auction. Proceeds from the auction of the football will be donated for Ben Maynard’s medical bills.
A Jake Day framed print, generously donated by the Day family, will be “auctioned” off at the LA Booster auction on Sat., Nov. 19 to benefit Ben Maynard.
Maynard graduated from Lincoln Academy in 2002 and is living in New Hampshire. He is currently undergoing treatment for brain cancer. Maynard will be presented the framed print and the money collected in this unique benefit for him.
Anyone wishing to make a donation to Maynard’s medical care, may send a check to LA Booster Club, 81 Academy Road, Newcastle, 04553, and note that it is for the Ben Maynard Fund.
Lincoln Academy’s annual LA Booster Auction is Sat., Nov. 19. The Silent Auction begins at 4 p.m. and the live auction is at 5 p.m. in the dining commons. John Bottero, from Thomaston Place Gallery, will once again volunteer his time for the auction.
All other proceeds from the auction will go to the LA Boosters for their support of Lincoln Academy sports and other extra curricular activities.
