A Massachusetts man is in critical condition after riding a four-wheel all terrain vehicle off a private road in Dresden and crashing into a tree on Aug. 18 at around 7 p.m.
The 42-year-old man, whose name is not being released, was not wearing a helmet when he crashed the ATV on Hunter Road, a private road off Rt. 197, according to a press release issued by the Maine Warden’s Service.
He was flown by LifeFlight to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where he was listed in critical condition, according to the release.
The incident is currently under investigation.
