The electricity went out around midnight this morning, Nov. 13 for more than 600 customers in Nobleboro, Bremen, and Waldoboro, because of a downed power line.
According to CMP Media Relations Representative John Carroll, crews were on scene just after 1 a.m. to replace the damaged line.
With a new line in place the problem was resolved, and customers’ power returned just after 4 a.m.
Though no cause was reported, at the scene, CMP placed an entirely new power pole. The remainder of the existing pole shows extensive damage.
