A fire destroyed the pavilion in Damariscotta Lake State Park in Jefferson early this morning. Jefferson firefighters responded to the scene and had the fire under control by 7:30 a.m.
A LCN reporter on the scene observed extensive damage to the structure.
The state Fire Marshall has been called to the scene.
