The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Storm Watch for a weather front that has been chugging across the country and is expected to arrive in Lincoln County Weds. evening.
According to the NWS, the Winter Storm Watch was issued because there is a “significant potential for snow, sleet or ice accumulations” of “over 6 inches” during the event.
The Winter Storm Watch is in effect from Weds. evening into late Thurs. night with the heaviest snowfall or other precipitation forecast from late Weds. night through Thurs. morning, according to the NWS.
