The Bremen Board of Selectmen agreed, Nov. 1, to extend the application period for the position of deputy town clerk.
Selectmen are looking for a part-time clerk who will take over the town clerk’s duties in a year and a half when Town Clerk Martha Varsano retires. According to Selectman Hank Nevins, Varsano plans to stay in her position until after the 2014 town meeting.
The original deadline for applications was Fri., Nov. 9. That has been extended one week, to Fri., Nov. 16.
