In preparation for this year’s town meeting in March, Bremen is seeking candidates to run for four positions on the Bremen Planning Board and two seats on the Bremen Board of Selectmen.
Three residents have taken out papers for the seats on the Planning Board, one of which is a current member of the board, although as of Feb. 4, none had returned the paperwork. The filing deadline for those seats is Feb. 9.
Two seats on the Bremen Board of Selectmen are open this year. Wendy Pieh will run for re-election to one of those seats. The other opening is the seat vacated by Patrick Ginnaty following his resignation, officially accepted by the selectmen at their Feb. 3 meeting.
The candidate elected to that seat will serve the remaining two years of Ginnaty’s term.
