Although the weather has closed the Bremen Town Office for the day, the Bremen Board of Selectmen plans to meet as scheduled Thursday afternoon.
Selectmen Chair Wendy Pieh said the board usually cancels meetings when the town office is closed due to bad weather. However, today the selectmen plan to continue business as usual in large part because the weather and traveling conditions are both expected to improve this afternoon, she said.
Pieh said the board will formally convene to meet with the town’s accountant, Bill Brewer at 3 p.m. and plan to hold the regular selectmen’s meeting beginning at 5 p.m. Pieh said she expects the board will take up a light agenda.
Both meetings will take place at the Bremen Town Center, Route 32.
