Julia Brown, of Bremen, received the most votes with her photo of fall foliage around a dock to become the 10th monthly winner of the 2019 #LCNme365 photo contest. Brown will receive a $50 gift certificate to Coastal Car Wash and Detail Center, of Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor, the sponsor of the October contest.
A Bremen woman’s photo of a dock surrounded by fall foliage handily won the October #LCNme365 photo contest with 69.1% of votes.
Julia Brown used her iPhone to snap the photo of the dock near her home. “I had maybe 10 minutes before my daughter woke up, and I looked out the window and saw how beautiful it was, with the reflections on the pond and the different color leaves,” Brown said.

“It was a pretty spot, and a pretty moment,” she said.
Brown follows The Lincoln County News on Instagram, where she learned about the #LCNme365 photo contest. “Any time I take a photo I think is pretty, I use the hashtag,” she said.
In addition to having her photo featured on the front page of The Lincoln County News, Brown will receive a $50 gift certificate to Coastal Car Wash and Detail Center, the sponsor of the October contest.
As the 10th monthly winner, Brown cannot win another weekly or monthly contest in 2019, but she can still submit photos for inclusion in the weekly slideshow of entries at lcnme.com.
Brown’s photo will compete against the other 11 monthly winners at the end of the year as voters select the winner for 2019.
