Bristol’s property tax (mil) rate, already low by Lincoln County standards, is now even lower.
The rate for 2011 is $7.85 – Bristol’s lowest in four years and down from $8.15 in 2010.
According to the 2011 Maine Register, only Monhegan, South Bristol, Southport and Westport Island boast lower rates.
The Bristol Board of Selectmen set this year’s rate at their May 25 meeting.
