A Pemaquid Falls tool shed was destroyed by fire last Friday.
Bristol Fire Chief Ron Pendleton said the shed was owned by Ted Lewis, 69, a carpenter and handy man who lives on Rt. 130 about a half mile north of Pemaquid Falls.
“The shed was located about 40 to 50 feet from his house and that was fortunate, for the building burned and many of his tools were destroyed and damaged,” Pendleton said.
The blaze originated in the 15 by 30-foot wooden frame building near the wood stove, Pendleton said.
Firefighters from Bristol, Bremen, South Bristol, and Damariscotta battled the blaze for more than two hours
No one was injured in the fire.
