A series of Christmas cards that local artist and The Lincoln County News cartoonist Glenn Chadbourne made for Stephen King’s personal use are now available for sale on King’s website, www.stephenking.com.
“This season, why not celebrate the holidays with twisted greeting cards…?” a notice on the site asks.
Over the last six years, Chadbourne made the cards for King to send to family and friends. The images are available as cards and printed on clothing, gadgets and other merchandise, according to the site.
Sales of Chadbourne’s cards will support King’s Haven Foundation, a nonprofit that provides financial support to freelance artists who are suddenly unable to work because of injury, illness or natural disaster, according to the site.
