Paul and Tammy Cheney of Newcastle are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sylviann L. Cheney, to Steven M. Ward Sr., son of Mark and Kandy Ward of Wiscasset.
Cheney is a 2003 graduate of Lincoln Academy. She is currently employed at First Federal Savings in Boothbay Harbor.
Ward is a 2001 graduate of Wiscasset High School. He is currently employed by Ward & Sons Construction Inc. of Wiscasset. Steven is also the Assistant Fire Chief for the Town of Edgecomb.
A July 24, 2010 wedding is planned.
