The Cod Cove Inn, in Edgecomb, will remain open during the winter, according to innkeeper Ted Hugger.
“The inn is a popular stop for business and social travelers visiting the area,” Hugger said. “We’re an easy drive to Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Wiscasset, Bath and Rockland. Once the snow flies, it’s very difficult to find accommodations in Midcoast Maine.”
“We’re also offering special rates for Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks,” Hugger said. “Enjoy the holidays with your relatives by having them stay at our house.”
Spacious rooms are available with king beds, single or double queen- beds and some with pull-out sleepers. All include a deluxe continental breakfast.
The Cod Cove Inn is a 28-room inn overlooking Wiscasset and the Sheepscot Rivers at the intersection of Route 1 and the Boothbay Road. The inn has earned a reputation for comfortable, exceptionally clean accommodations; spectacular gardens; and was recently awarded the TripAdvisor 2014 Certificate of Excellence.
Travelers wishing to stay at the inn will want to make advance reservations by calling (882-9586) or emailing (innkeeper@codcoveinn.com ) and asking for the holiday rate.
