Lincoln County Superior Court closed several criminal cases from Aug. 24 to Sept. 3 during the recent criminal session of court.
The court reported the closures last week, including Scott Anderson, 25, of Jefferson who was found guilty of assault Aug. 28, 2008 in Jefferson.
Anderson was fined $300 for the offense and all but 14 days of a two-year sentence with the state Dept. of Corrections (DOC) was suspended. The court placed him on probation for two years.
Andrew J. Blauvelt, 20, of Hope was found guilty of burglary and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer July 22, 2008 in Damariscotta. Restitution for the burglary is $750, and the court sentenced him to six months in jail for each charge.
Douglas Boynton, 61, of Monhegan was fined $200 for Class III lobster and crab fishing without license Oct. 1, 2008 in Monhegan.
Robert E. Bracy, was fined $200 for Class III lobster and crab fishing without license Oct. 1, 2008.
Walter Brewer, III, 27, of Warren received a six-month jail sentence on Aug. 27, all of which the court suspended and placed him on probation for one year for a conviction of unlawful sexual touching Sept. 16, 2007 in Damariscotta. The court had dismissed on plea other counts of gross sexual assault, unlawful sexual contact, and sexual abuse of minor.
Jody Delong, 34, of Waldoboro had counts of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs and unlawful furnishing scheduled drug March 27, 2007 in Waldoboro dismissed for other charge(s).
George Hendron Jr., 25, of Cushing was found guilt of unlawful touching Sept. 15 in Damariscotta.
James Jolly, 32, of Waldoboro was found guilty of a probation violation.
Dana Sprague, 52, of Nobleboro was found guilty of domestic violence assault March 6, 2008 in Nobleboro was fined $300, and the court suspended all but 47 days of a 364-day jail sentence and placed him on probation for two years.
Jodie Stone, 32, of Nobleboro had a count of aggravated assault and two counts endangering the welfare of a child March 23, 2008 in Waldoboro dismissed on lack of evidence.
James A. West, 30, of Nobleboro was fined $500 on Aug. 27, 2009 for a conviction of operating under the influence Aug. 27, 2006 in Whitefield.
