The Gardiner Family and the employees of Damariscotta Hardware are pleased to announce the launch of a new website for their hardware store in Damariscotta. Owned and operated by the Gardiners for over 50 years, they joined with Do It Best 10 years ago and are now able to boast access to over 70,000 items with the click of a mouse.
In the Damariscotta warehouse they maintain an inventory of over 35,000 items. View the new web site at www.damariscottahardware.com.
“Customer Service is very important to us,’ said store manager Rob Gardiner. “When you’ve been helping people for over 50 years, it becomes more than second nature. It’s ingrained. We cut glass and plexi-glass, mix paint, and cut window shades. We repair screens, cut rope, chain and electrical wire, and fix lamps. We cut pipe and we thread pipe and we repair vacuums… When it says “some assembly required”, don’t panic, we do that too. This new web site makes our services and products available and viewable to anyone with internet access”.
Laurie Heron of Royal River Graphics, also based in Damariscotta, designed the new website.
“One of the best parts about creating this web site with Damariscotta Hardware was learning about the different departments and the various roles their many employees play,” said Heron. “I think they offer more services than most folks are aware of.”
Damariscotta Hardware is located at 423 Main Street in Damariscotta, ME 04543. For more information call 563-3428. The new web address is www.damariscottahardware.com.
