A Lincoln County grand jury indicted Joshua B. Seiders, 31, of Damariscotta, May 16 on a felony theft charge in connection with the theft of more than $10,000 from Osier’s Wharf in South Bristol.
The theft, according to the indictment, took place on or about Sept. 1, 2011.
Seiders’ arraignment is scheduled for June 28 at 8:30 a.m. in Lincoln County Superior Court.
The details of the case, including Seiders’ relationship with the company and the total amount of the alleged theft, were unclear at press time.
A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office spokesman was unable to provide details. David Osier, the owner of Osier’s Wharf, a commercial fishing operation, did not return a message left the afternoon of May 22.
Seiders could not be reached for comment as there is no listing for a Joshua Seiders in the local phone directory and court documents did not indicate whether he has a defense attorney.
