Damariscotta Police Chief Chad Andrews is on administrative leave effective this morning and Lincoln County Sheriff Todd Brackett is serving as part-time acting police chief.
The matter “involves an internal and confidential personnel matter,” according to Damariscotta Town Manager Matt Lutkus.
Brackett will serve in a volunteer capacity to ensure department operations and administrative services continue uninterrupted, according to Lutkus.
