A 26-year-old Damariscotta man wanted by the Damariscotta Police Department in connection with an alleged assault and robbery Jan. 10 turned himself in Feb. 16.
Joshua D. “Josh” Benner, 26, faces charges of class A robbery and class D assault.
A Waldoboro man told police Benner and two other men assaulted him and stole $1,000 from him in Damariscotta’s back parking lot the morning of Saturday, Jan. 10.
Benner is free on bail. The Damariscotta Police Department continues to investigate the case, according to Sgt. Jason Warlick.
