On Nov. 4, Reserve Officer Mark Doe took a complaint of a missing miniature chihuahua.
Reserve Officer Mark Doe recovered a dog wandering on Main St. belonging to Catherine Rolerson, 56, of Jefferson.
Wayne R. Elliott, 63, of Damariscotta was summonsed by Sgt. Chad Andrews for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
Nov. 6, Officer Richard Alexander responded to a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Yellowfront Grocery. Mark W. Deblois, 56, of Newcastle was backing out of his parking space in his 2003 Dodge van. At the same time, Joseph J. Bent, 48, of Nobleboro was backing out of his parking space in his 2005 GMC pickup truck. They struck each other. Approximately $800 damage was done to both vehicles.
Reserve Officer Neil Genthner investigated a hit and run accident in the parking lot of Hodgdon Green. Linda M. Bulmer, 52, of New Harbor had parked her 1999 Buick, which was struck causing approximately $1500 damage.
Nov 7, Police Chief Steven Drake responded to a two-vehicle accident at the School St. and Rt. 1 intersection. John Lacy, 87, of New Harbor was stopped at the end of School St. in his 1999 Toyota. Lacy pulled out onto Rt. 1 striking the side of a 2005 Hyundai driven by Brenda Sherer, 53, of Jefferson who was traveling Northbound on Rt. 1. There was approximately $800 damage done to the Lacy vehicle and approximately $1200 damage done to the Sherer vehicle.
Nov. 8, Officer Richard Alexander responded to a two-vehicle accident on Main St. Mary S. Weeks, 63, of Bremen was slowing down in traffic in her 2002 Toyota. Larry Neal, 50, of Jefferson did not realize she was slowing down and rear-ended her vehicle with his 1996 Subaru. Approximately $1800 damage was done to the Weeks vehicle and approximately $2000 damage was done to the Neal vehicle.
Bruce M. Hardina, 49, of Nobleboro was issued a summons by Officer Richard Alexander, for operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection.
Nov 9, Officer Richard Alexander is assisting Waterbury, Conn. Police Department in the investigation of a gross sexual assault that was reported to the Damariscotta Police Department.
Nov. 10, Reserve Patrol Officer Daniel Barbour is investigating a negotiating a worthless instrument case.
Nov. 11, Dyani J. Dever, 20, of Nobleboro was issued a summons for speeding, 50/35 mph zone.
