The Damariscotta Police Department reports the following activity:
April 28, Officer Aaron Beck responded to an accident on Main St. An unknown vehicle was attempting to parallel park when it struck the back bumper of a 2004 Subaru belonging to Maryanne P. Storer of Nobleboro. There was approximately $500 damage done to Storer’s vehicle.
April 28, Officer Aaron Beck responded to report of vandalism to an outside table at Maine Coast Bookshop.
April 29, Officer Jennifer Doe took a complaint of unwanted telephone calls from a young female and her mother.
April 29, Pamela Dodge, 53 of Edgecomb was arrested for negotiating a worthless instrument.
April 30, Riley J. Brown, 17 of Damariscotta was summonsed to court for speeding 20-24 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
May 1, Officer Richard Alexander responded to a two-vehicle accident on Main St. involving Stanley Peterson, 47 of Boothbay and Paige Verney, 16 of Newcastle. Peterson was making a left turn onto Church St. in his 1992 Buick without using a directional signal. Verney was unaware that Mr. Peterson was making a turn and rear-ended his vehicle with her 2005 Jeep. There was approximately $1200 damage done to the Peterson vehicle and approximately $1500 damage done to the Verney vehicle.
May 1, Stanley Peterson, 47 of Boothbay was summonsed to court for attaching false plates to a motor vehicle.
May 1, Barrett Peaslee, 35 of Dresden was summonsed to court for operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
May 1, Walter Hilton, 60 of Damariscotta was summonsed to court for violation of a harassment order.
May 2, Stephanie E. George, 60 of Newcastle was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.
May 2, Bruce A. Holt, 23 of Bremen was summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor, operating a motor vehicle after revocation, driving to endanger, possession or marijuana, speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit and inadequate tires.
May 2, William H. Burleson, 44 of Damariscotta was summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection certificate.
May 3, Scott Riley, 34 of Bremen was arrested for obstructing government administration.
May 3, Michael J. Siracusa, 45 of Damariscotta was arrested on a warrant for carrying a concealed weapon.
May 4, Michael Hilgendorf, 58 of Boothbay was summonsed to court for failure to display a current inspection certificate.
