Damariscotta Police Department reports the following activity:
Sept. 1, Officer Jennifer Doe assisted a citizen with a civil issue.
Edward S. Bright 43 of Nobleboro was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection certificate and failure to produce evidence of insurance.
Heather J. Dakin 27 of Warren was summonsed to court for speeding 15-19 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
David A. Rawstron, 65 of Friendship was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Officer Jennifer Doe responded to a two vehicle accident on Main St. involving Michael Lessner, 39 of Damariscotta and Marlene L. Loznicka-Mulhern, 74 of New Harbor. Ms. Loznicka-Mulhern signaled to turn right in her 2005 Chrysler. Mr. Lessner swerved to the right in his 1998 Chevrolet as she started to make the turn and struck her vehicle. There was approximately $3000 damage to Mr. Lessner’s vehicle and approximately $2000 damage to Ms. Loznicka-Mulhern’s vehicle.
Sept. 2, Blaire E. Horton, 28 of Friendship was summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle after suspension and violation of conditions of release.
Daniel E. Bailey, 46 of Jefferson was summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection certificate.
Officer Jennifer Doe responded to a three vehicle accident on Main St. involving Amanda Spicer, 23 of Damariscotta, Andre D. Deshazo, 37 of Boothbay and Walter Boyko, 44 of Waldoboro. Ms. Spicer was travelling South on Main Street. Mr. Deshazo and Mr. Boyko were stopped in traffic. Ms. Spicer struck Mr. Deshazo’s vehicle which then struck Mr. Boyko’s vehicle. There was approximately $8000 damage to Ms. Spicer’s 2001 Subaru, approximately $7000 damage to Mr. Deshazo’s 1994 Chevrolet and approximately $700 damage to Mr. Boyko’s 1996 Ford Pick-Up Truck.
Sept. 3, Blaire E. Horton, 28 of Friendship was summonsed to court for operating a motor vehicle after suspension and violation of conditions of release.
Sept. 4, Officer Adam Lewis is investigating a harassment by telephone complaint.
Mahlon A. Libby, 35 of Newcastle was arrested for violation of conditions of release.
A juvenile was summonsed to court for possession of tobacco products by a minor and for disorderly conduct.
Melissa L. Genthner 26 of Brunswick was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Lisa M. Howard, 38 of Nobleboro was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Lawrence W. Gough, 71 of Hodgdon, Maine was summonsed to court for speeding 15-19 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Brian L. Donovan, 56 of Wakefield, Mass. was summonsed to court for speeding 25-29 miles per hour over the posted speed limit in a school zone.
Georgia I. Woodman 43 of Bristol was summonsed to court for speeding 15-19 miles per hour over the posted speed limit in a school zone.
Patrick Aguiar 51 of Portsmouth, R.I. was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Gerald R. Ellis 66 of Victor, N.Y. was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Miles C. Wing, 31 of Portland was summonsed to court for speeding 15-19 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Sept. 5, Amy Root, 38 of Union was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Sept. 6, Joseph J. Jackson, 21 of Bristol was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Danielle R. Kavanagh 19 of Warren was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Forrest M. Burns, 21 of Spruce Head was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Sept. 6, Officer Candice Robinson assisted a citizen with a civil issue.
Officer Candice Robinson had a lost wallet returned to her. Officer Jennifer Doe returned it to the owner.
Theodora E. Landgren, 64 of Bremen was summonsed to court for speeding 10-14 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Brian T. Moloney, 58 of Hanover, Mass. was summonsed to court for speeding 15-19 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.
Sept. 7, Officer Jennifer Doe collected money from two citizens for bad checks that had been written to a local business.
Officer Jennifer Doe took a complaint of a possible phone harassment.
Officer Jennifer Doe responded to an accident at Hannaford parking lot. Carl Petersen, 72 of Newcastle was pulling into a parking space in his 2004 Ford. He struck a 2005 Toyota van belonging to Dennis A. Duguay, 63 of Petersnam, Mass. who was legally parked. There was no damage to Petersen’s vehicle and approximately $950 damage to Mr. Duguay’s vehicle.
