On Oct. 19 at approximately 5:30 p.m. a male subject stole a John Deere riding tractor, a push lawnmower, a weed wacker and a leaf blower from 387 Bristol Rd. The subject loaded the tractor and other items onto a trailer that had a New Hampshire plate on it. The subject was operating a light colored foreign made SUV or truck with a cap on it. Anyone who witnessed this event or who might have any information, please call the Damariscotta Police Department at 563-1909.
Damariscotta Police responded to 104 calls including motor vehicle stops, arrests, calls for service, etc. during this one week period of time and report the following activities:
Oct. 26, Officer Jennifer Mitkus responded to a residence on a report of a man lying on the floor. She dispatched Emergency Medical Services as he was in need of medical care.
Oct. 28, Officer Richard Alexander summonsed a juvenile to court for assault.
Nov. 2, Officer Jennifer Mitkus received a call from Hannaford of found checks from an Attorney’s office. She contacted the Attorney and was able to return the checks.
