Damariscotta Police Department reports the following activity:
March 26, Officer Jason Warlick took possession of found property, and located the owner, returning the property.
March 27, Officer Devin Polizzotti responded to Rt. 1 on a report of an erratic operation; responded to Bristol Road, along with CLC Ambulance, on a report of a medical emergency; responded to Full Circle Family Medicine, along with CLC Ambulance, on a report of a medical emergency; and responded to Biscay Road to attempt to locate a driver who possibly needed a welfare check. He had negative contact with the vehicle.
Officer Warlick responded to Mr. Mike’s Market on a report of suspicious activity.
March 28, Deputy Chief Chad Andrews and Officer Polizzotti responded to Biscay Road on a report of a domestic disturbance.
Officer Polizzotti responded to Jackie’s Trail on a report of a criminal mischief; responded to a report of an erratic operation; and conducted a compliance check on a subject out on bail.
Officer John Sylvester served an harassment order on a subject.
March 29, Officer Warlick responded to Hannaford on an animal complaint in which a dog had been left in a motor vehicle for over a half an hour; responded to Hodgdon Ship Builders, along with the Damariscotta Fire Department, on a report of a fire.
Officer Sylvester responded to NAPA due to a suspicious vehicle, which was an employee’s.
March 30, Officer James Read responded to Damariscotta Dialysis on a report of a burglar alarm; responded to Bristol Road on a report of a traffic hazard; responded to Bristol Road, along with the Damariscotta Fire Department, on a report of a fire alarm; and took a civil complaint from a subject regarding child custody; and took possession of found property. The owner was located and the property was returned.
March 31, Chief Young responded to Meadow Court, along with CLC Ambulance, on a report of a medical emergency.
Chief Ron Young responded to Biscay Road on a report of a disabled motor vehicle. He was able to jump start the vehicle to get the operator to a garage.
Deputy Chief Andrews responded to Bristol Road, along with the Damariscotta Fire Department, on a report of a fire alarm.
Officer Chubbuck took a report of a possible theft.
March 28, Nickolas E. Guptill, 18, of Jefferson, was summoned for illegal transportation of liquor by a minor by Deputy Chief Andrews.
March 30, Daniel Bailey, 30, of Damariscotta, was arrested on a warrant for unpaid fines by Officer Read.
Damariscotta Police Department responded to 119 calls including motor vehicle stops, arrests, calls for service, etc. during this one week period of time.
