David Little, Nobleboro, insurance, Bristol Road, Oct. 2.
Thomas Morrow, Paupack, Penn., insurance, Church Street, Sept. 28.
Kelly Paine, Nobleboro, operating after habitual offender revocation, Main Street, Oct. 2.
Jacob Robison, Damariscotta, inspection, Church Street, Oct. 3.
Michael Smerdon, Bristol, speeding, Bristol Road, Oct. 2.
Oct. 1: Chief Ron Young responded to a car-deer accident on Egypt Road. No human injuries were reported.
Oct. 3: Officer Jim Dotson responded to a report of a vehicle vs. pole accident in the municipal parking lot on Parking Lot Lane. No injuries were reported.
Chief Young took a report of lost property at the police department, investigated a report of theft on Hodgdon Street, and assisted a citizen at the police department.
Sgt. Warlick investigated an alarm on Main Street.
Sept. 29: Officer Dotson issued a warning for speeding on High Street, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, served paperwork on Schooner Street, assisted a citizen at the police department, and took a found property report at the police department.
Chief Young assisted citizens at the police department and investigated an alarm on Main Street.
Officer Sylvester assisted a person needing fingerprints for employment at the police department.
Sgt. Warlick took a police information report on Bristol Road and investigated a report of threatening on Back Meadow Road.
Sept. 30: Chief Young conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, conducted a speaking engagement at Great Salt Bay Community School on Main Street, took a report of a missing dog on Bristol Road, took a report of a possible sexual assault on Main Street, took a found property report at the police department, took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1, took a report of suspicious activity on Miles Center Way, took a report of flooding on Main Street, assisted a citizen on Ledgewood Court, assisted with reports of flooding and vehicles off the road on Biscay Road, responded to an alarm on Main Street, and took a report of an erratic vehicle on Parking Lot Lane.
Sgt. Warlick investigated a traffic hazard on Center Street. The hazard was marked and road crews were notified.
Sgt. Warlick issued a warning for a stop-sign violation on Route 1.
Sgt. Warlick responded to a traffic hazard on Water Street. The hazard was removed.
Oct. 1: Chief Young conducted a radar detail on Bristol Road, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1, investigated an alarm on Westview Road, took a report of a very large pothole on Bristol Road (the Maine Department of Transportation was notified), took a report of an erratic vehicle on Route 1, investigated a report of a bald eagle that had flown into a house, possibly injuring itself, on Heater Road (the eagle was located and was able to fly away), served paperwork at the police department, and investigated a report of theft on Main Street.
Officer Sylvester took a found property report at the police department.
Oct. 2: Sgt. Warlick conducted a radar detail on Bristol Road, issued a warning for speeding on Bristol Road, conducted speed enforcement in the school zone on Main Street, took a report of a traffic hazard at the intersection of Church Street and Main Street, took a walk-in report of a minor accident in the Hannaford parking lot (there was minimal damage to the vehicles), took a report of a possible phone scam, and took a police information report at the police department.
Officer Sylvester issued a warning for a defect on Bristol Road.
Oct. 3: Officer Dotson issued a warning for speeding on Bristol Road, investigated a parking problem on Westview Road, issued a warning for a stop-sign violation on Main Street,
Officer Sylvester took a found property report at the police department, investigated an alarm on Jackie’s Trail, issued a warning for a defect on Main Street, investigated a report of suspicious activity on Back Meadow Road, and issued a warning for speeding on Main Street.
Oct. 4: Officer Dotson issued a warning for speeding on Bristol Road, issued a warning for no front plate on Route 1, issued a warning for improper parking on Biscay Road, assisted with traffic control on Biscay Road, and investigated an alarm on Main Street.
The Damariscotta Police Department responded to 214 calls for service for the time period of Sept. 28 to Oct. 4.
