Damariscotta Police Dept. reports the following activity:

Summonses and arrestsOn Nov. 11, Sophie S. Stark, 18, of Round Pond, was summonsed to court for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

On Nov. 13, Amanda A. Miller, 28, of Waldoboro, was summonsed for speeding 20-24 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

Nathan I. Bergeron, 31, of Falmouth, was summonsed for speeding 20-24 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

Damien Austin, 18 of Wiscasset was summonsed for speeding 15-19 miles per hour over the posted speed limit.

Nov. 15, Joshua D. Benner, 22, of Damariscotta, was arrested for failure to pay fine, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and probation violation.

AccidentsOn Nov. 12, Officer Richard Alexander responded to a two-vehicle accident in the parking lot of Yellowfront Grocery. Benjamin O. Fitzgerald, 55, of Woolwich was legally parked in his 1998 GMC Pickup. Sheridan F. Jones, 74, of South Bristol backed up in his 2004 Jeep and struck the side of Fitzgerald’s vehicle. There was approximately $500 damage to Fitzgerald’s vehicle and approximately $700 damage to Jones’s vehicle.
