The second formal public hearing about the Damariscotta charter amendment will take place Wed., Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Great Salt Bay Community School gym.
The final public hearing will follow Thurs., Oct. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at the Damariscotta town office.
A public information meeting on the same subject will take place the previous day, Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 5:30 p.m. in the Great Salt Bay Community School gym.
The change in the schedule is the result of errors in a public notice in the Sept. 20 print edition of The Lincoln County News. The correct public notice will appear on page A2 of the Sept. 27 print edition.
