The Damariscotta River Grill has been selected for the Restaurant Neighbor Award by the National Restaurant Association. This award honors restaurant companies that have gone above and beyond in giving back to their communities.
An example of the community service provided by the Damariscotta River Grill includes their support for FARMS (Focus on Agriculture in Rural Maine Schools).
Last Nov. 16, the Grill held a Community Supper to benefit FARMS, which raised $978.
FARMS is a Farm to School program in Lincoln County which is dedicated to rebuilding a healthy food system and connecting classrooms, cafeterias, local farms and communities.
