The Damariscotta Board of Selectman will meet in special session Fri., Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. to call for a special town meeting to be held September 16.
Damariscotta Town Manager Greg Zinser said the select board will be asked to authorize the town meeting to grant town officials permission to receive and spend a federal stimulus grant to pay for the pending Church Street water/drainage ditch and repaving project.
