The town of Damariscotta will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the construction of the new Bus. Rt. 1 sidewalk at noon Thurs., Aug. 30.
The new sidewalk extends along the north side of the road from the Damariscotta Region Information Bureau to Yellowfront Grocery.
The ceremony will take place outside the information bureau, at 276 Main St.
