Damariscotta hopefuls can pick up nomination papers for four positions – two on the Damariscotta Board of Selectmen, one on the Great Salt Bay School Committee and one on the Board of Trustees of the Great Salt Bay Sanitary District – on Monday, March 21.
The terms of Dick McLean, the Chairman of the Damariscotta Board of Selectmen, Selectman Vicki Pinkham, GSB School Committee member Sarah “Sally” Farrell and GSBSD Trustee John Gallagher all expire this year.
Candidates must collect at least 25 but no more than 100 signatures of registered Damariscotta voters and return their nomination papers to the town office by 5 p.m., Monday, May 2, in order to appear on the ballot.
