The town of Damariscotta will hold public hearings and a special town meeting at the town office at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 17.
Damariscotta voters will decide whether to enact a moratorium or temporary ban on adult entertainment establishments during the special town meeting. Other items include minor changes to the 2014-2015 budget and the shoreland zoning ordinance.
