George H. Perrault Jr., 33, of Berwick, allegedly stole more than $10,000 of coffee and money from Newcastle-based Seacoast Coffee Company during a five-year period.
A Lincoln County grand jury indicted Perrault May 16. The outcome of his arraignment, scheduled for May 18, was not immediately available.
Perrault, according to the indictment, stole the coffee and funds between Oct. 11, 2005 and July 1, 2011.
Perrault had previously been charged with the crime, but the district attorney’s office dismissed the case March 23 pending further investigation.
Perrault is a former employee of the company and remains a shareholder, a company representative said. He has not been an employee since his July 2011 arrest.
Further details, including the amounts of cash and coffee involved, were not available at press time.
A Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office spokesman was unable to provide details. The Seacoast Coffee Company representative declined to provide further details.
Matthew Nichols, the defense attorney representing Perrault, did not return a message left the evening of May 22.
