Mrs. Jeanne Dolliver of Waldoboro, and the late Ron Dolliver, announces the engagement of her daughter, Alisha Marie, to Eric Grant Eckman, son of James and Barbara Eckman of Swedesboro, N.J.
Dolliver is a 1999 graduate of Medomak Valley High School and attended the University of Southern Maine; she also studied cosmetology in the United Kingdom. She currently works for AAA Northern New England as executive assistant.
Eckman is a 1999 graduate of Kingsway Regional High School in Swedesboro, N.J. and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., in May 2003.
Eckman is a corporate pilot for Net Jets and is based in Portland.
An August 2009 wedding is planned.
