Despite the best efforts of the Dresden, Richmond, Wiscasset, West Bath and Woolwich fire departments, a Dresden home on Middle Rd. was lost to flames on Thanksgiving, according to reports.
The home was owned by Dresden firefighter Albert Lilly, who was at his sister’s house in Damariscotta having Thanksgiving dinner when he learned of the fire over his departmental pager, according to reports.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when the first fire units arrived, and is a total loss, according to reports.
