A Dresden man faces a charge of operating under the influence after crashing his truck in Wiscasset and allegedly registering a 0.17 blood-alcohol level, more than twice the legal limit.
Wiscasset Police Officers Perry Hatch and Willy Simmons responded to the single-vehicle accident on Willow Lane in the area of Montsweag Brook at about 12 p.m. Monday, according to a Wiscasset Police Department press release.
Nathaniel Hanley, 26, of Dresden, was driving a 2004 Dodge 1500 pickup when he lost control and went off the roadway.
Simmons arrested Hanley and charged him with OUI. Hatch transported Hanley to Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset and administered the breath test. The legal limit in Maine is 0.08.
