Wiscasset businessman Greg Lemar acquired the former Dresden Take-Out on Route 27 in Dresden at an auction held Dec. 10
In a phone interview Dec. 10, Lemar said he paid $43,000 for the building. “I think it’s a fair price because it needs a lot of work,” Lemar said. “Basically I got a cement build with siding.”
Lemar said the building had been stripped down to the just the walls by the former owner, David Chung. “It needs serious revamping,” Lemar said.
Lemar, the owner of Greg’s Used Cars on Route 27 in Wiscasset said he plans to keep the property functioning as a gas station and convenient store. “It’s the only gas pump between Wiscasset and Randolph on Route 27,” he said.
Lemar said he hopes once the property has been refurbished it will once again generate business.
