A Ford Focus traveling south on Winslows Mills Road in Waldoboro at around 11 a.m. May 5 rolled over after the driver was startled by an animal running across the road.
Rescuers on the scene did not know the driver’s name, but she was a 60-plus-year-old woman, said Waldoboro Police Chief Bill Labombarde at the scene.
“We can rule out drugs and alcohol right away,” Labombarde said. Waldoboro police are still investigating the accident.
