The $2,077,910 budget request for the Medomak Middle School bobbed in the wake of a discussion over the number of Education Technicians (Ed Techs) in the district and the value of educational stipends at the MSAD 40 Budget Committee meeting Tuesday night.
Board members raised sports issues, special education and alternative ways in which to see the value of items in the budget during their discussion at the March 3 meeting.
The requested Medomak Middle School portion of the overall MSAD 40 budget shows an increase (2.51 percent) from this year’s budget, which was $2,026,952.
