Katharine Erkman and Matthew Eugley were married on July 6, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Newcastle, followed by a celebration with family and friends on Pemaquid Lake, Nobleboro at the home of Betty Jean and Chester Wright, the groom’s grandparents.
Kate is a 2003 graduate of Boonsboro Senior High School and holds a degree in photography from the Maine Media College of Rockport, (formerly Rockport College), class of 2006. She is the youngest daughter of Todd and Nancy Erkman of Wiscasset, formerly Annapolis and Boonsboro, Md.
Matt is a 2002 graduate of Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, and 2009 graduate of University of Maine, Orono, majoring in Spanish. He is the son of Jean Tempesta of Tempe, Ariz. and Robert Eugley of Bristol.
Kate works as a freelance photographer and for Homeport Supply in Newcastle. Matt is pursuing a teaching career, and working summers with Ken Lutte, Painting in New Harbor. The couple now resides in South Bristol.
