Waldoboro police report a 25-year-old Warren man was killed in an early morning motorcycle accident on Jefferson Street today.
According to Waldoboro police, Officer Jeremy Joslyn responded to the reported fatality around 3:58 a.m. Waldoboro EMS and Waldoboro Fire were also dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, Officer Joslyn observed that a 1997 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by Gregory Zaccadelli, was traveling north on Jefferson Street when it left the roadway.
Zaccadelli was deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved.
Sergeant Jason Nein, an accident re-constructionist from the Lincoln County Sheriffs Office also responded to the scene. Jefferson Street was closed for approximately three hours following the crash. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
