Lincoln County pediatrician, Dr. Steve Feder has been elected president of the Maine Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (MAAP).
The MAAP is an organization with over 200 pediatrician members and is the state affiliate of the National AAP, the organization that sets policies and recommendations on everything from car seats to immunizations to advocacy for children’s rights.
Dr. Feder, who is currently Lincoln County Health Care Medical Staff President has been active in promoting children’s health in a variety of statewide initiatives and has been practicing on the Midcoast since 1998. Feder is a graduate of Bates College and attended University of New England Medical School.
He completed his pediatric training at Boston Children’s Hospital/Boston City Hospital residency program. He currently lives in Boothbay Harbor with his wife and daughter.
