Firefighters are having a hard time responding to incidents in Lincoln County due to the heavy snowfall, according to various reports.
Snowplows are trying to keep up with snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour.
At approximately 12:15 p.m., Jefferson firefighters struggled to reach a structure fire on Clary Rd. The location was reached and the fire is presently being knocked down while firefighters work in near blizzard conditions, according to reports.
Firefighters are still on the scene at the time of this posting.
The Somerville Fire Dept. was also containing a structure fire. The location for that fire is being confirmed.
